The black lights are fenominal. Everything arrived in a timely fashion and in perfect condition. However, when i tried to contact the seller on whether anything was supposed to come with to mount them i never received a response. They only come with velcro on the back which is very useless if you can't adhere one side. And if the seller happens to read this a response to my question would be greatly appreciated since you obviously don't check your e-mails all too often.

Upon receiving this product it worked for about 5 seconds before the light didn't light up to full. I proceeded to inspect the product and the end cap popped off with no effort at all. I found that the one screw that was supposed to hold the end cap on was stripped and the soldered connections inside for the light bulb were broken and needed to be re-soldered. Being skillful enough myself I simply re-soldered the connections and found a larger screw to hold the end on. Overall I would rate this product as very poor quality.

Got this for our home school last year to try out on fluorescent minerals and such. After figuring out how quickly it eats through batteries and that it actually worked better with regular alkaline and not rechargeable, had a fun time with it. The kids also used it to check to see if the cats were using the litter box properly and to test the effectiveness of different pairs of sunglasses (mine turned out to be the worst; we also found out that the really expensive ones weren't necessarily better than the cheap ones). Recommended for its described purposes.
